I really like Red Ghost. He's everything I love about Silver Age comics. He's a super evil super genius communist radiologist (seriously!) who gave himself and three monkeys superpowers.

Q is for Quasar

It took a long time to get this together, and I'm still not happy with it. But at one point I figured it was time to stop fucking with it.

I like old-school Quasar. I like that he has incredible powers, even by Marvel Comics standards, and sticks to this ridiculous set of rules to use them. And I like his stupid haircut.

I mostly like the way this one looks. Though I haven't been terribly enthused with Marvel as of late (or indeed comics in general), I do like the direction in which Ms. Marvel has been taken since House of M a few years ago. By rights, she should be one of Marvel's A-List heroes. But I wish she'd go back to calling herself Captain Marvel.

L is for Lady Deathstrike

Does Lady Deathstrike count for an L? Hell, it was this or Living Laser. Or Living Lightning.

Those guys should fight.

More than most, Lady Deathstrike is in desperate need for a new outfit. Hell, look at her old one. This design isn't perfect by any stretch, but I think it's at least more interesting.

Fun fact: in all preliminary sketches, she had hair. I think she looks cool bald. Cool and creepy. Like a marionette.

K is for Karnak

This is the original sketch for the Jubilee piece. I like the final version, but honestly I like this one more.

I like Karnak. He has a cool name, a douchey little moustache, and the goofiest of helmets, for no raisin(!). The thing I like most, though, is that unlike other Inhumans, Karnak was never exposed to the superpower-granting Terrigen Mists...so there's no reason for his head to be that big. It's never explained, and nobody ever comments on it.

J is for Jubilee

I should have spent more time on her face, but I like the overall look of this one.
